Welcome to another edition of Behind The Artists.</i>

This week we get to know the well known MN@ anjules :iconanjules:
:excited:

Anjules. Definition of "a" Anjules? Awesome, creative, helpful, silly.

Anjules isn't just a MN@ but also quite an awesome photographer. Check out her gallery and you'll be impressed right away. Not only is she good at photography, she is also very helpful and friendly. Anjules has given me quite a few tips in photography. The most important one that I'll always remember from her is not to worry about looking silly when taking pictures. Lie on the ground, take a weird angle shot, ect. Thanks to her tips I've learned more about photography and photoshop as well.

Check her out! Not like that you pervs!

Anyhow onto the interview! :w00t:

-The Arts-</i></u>

What brought you to deviantART?</u>
A friend from the US hooked me up to the site and told me to upload some photo's that I'd shown him over msn.

What got you into art in the first place?</u>
I've always been a bit of a gadget freak, so it was probably natural to get into photography, since they have lots of buttons and dials to play with

What gets your creative juices flowing?</u>
Going out for a drive into the country usually. Sometimes you see nothing that grabs you, and other times you're out all day shooting like a madman.

What kind of art do you enjoy doing?</u>
Just photography - I can't draw to save my life, and my mouse control is pretty ineffective so that rules out any kind of digital media, I suck at maths, so fractals are out... and well... you really don't want me near a paintbrush :paranoid:

What kind of art do you enjoy looking at the most?</u>
I usually stick mostly to photography - looking for some sort of inspiration from others, it also keeps me motivated to get out there shooting. But every so often I come across a painting/drawing, or a digital painting or fractals that blow me away and make me wish I could do them.

If you could meet and have dinner with any artists alive or dead who would it be?</u>
Hmm.. Not one I would imagine most people know to be honest. John Hyde. He has wildthingsphotography.com and every time I go to his site, I'm absolutely floored by his images. They're incredibly beautiful and really just showcase nature at it's best.

Where do you see yourself artistically 5yrs from now?</u>
Hopefully making money from my art  But moreso just hopefully developing my skills and still creating.

What style of art would you love to learn?</u>
I would love to be able to draw, just a pad and a pencil.

If there was one thing you could change on deviantART what would it be?</u>
Making people take responsibility for their actions. I think people have a tendency to adopt the attitude that 'it's just a website, therefore it doesn't matter'. Despite the fact that it is a website, you're still dealing with real people at the other end. People get carried away and make comments they wouldn't dare say to someone's face just because they have some degree of anonymity on the internet. I think that type of attitude is absolute rubbish and it's one of my pet peeves about this site (and others).

-About You-</i></u>

What kind of music can we find on your mp3 player?</u>
All kinds of stuff - everything ranging from classical through to heavy metal.

What is your favorite foods/drinks?</u>
I love a good roast lamb (with mint sauce) with roast kumara (sweet potato). And wine. I have a couple of favourite brands and just about religiously stick to those.

What is your most prized possession? (can be anything)</u>
I guess it would be my camera - simply because it's probably the most expensive thing I've ever personally invested in (besides our house). And because it's the outlet I need to photograph. :bucktooth:

What is your dream job? If you’re living that dream, is there another?</u>
In a sense I kind of am (at least at the time of writing this). I contract to a photographer to do all his digital processing - which also allows me a lot of freedom to work on my own images. Although that will be coming to an end over the summer (very very shortly), at which time my partner and I will hopefully be heavily involved in our aerial photography business. It's a lot of hard work, but when we're out there flying and shooting, it's just so much fun it negates the hard stuff.

Imagine you’re stranded on an island. What person would you want to be stranded with?</u>
To be honest... I'd probably want to be stranded by myself. I'm perfectly content on my own.

Last book you read?</u>
Michael Connelly - The Black Ice.

What can we find you doing in your free time?</u>
Well most of my free time goes on dAmn, beyond that I'm probably either cleaning up the house, or reading, or doing cross-stitch embroidery.

Last but not least! Any last words?!</u>
Live long and prosper. (I'm not a trekkie - I just like the quote)

This is a really great idea for an article. Are you only focusing on staff members?
